“This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil”
The definition of Steadfast according to English means resolutely and dutifully firm and unwavering. . When we see this demonstrated in families and communities, it is so strong. the bible tells us to be steadfast, it means that we should stand firmly in place.
What does it mean to be steadfast? The bible in the book of 1 Cor 15:58 tells us that ; Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”
Let us be personally immovable in ensuring that the work of Jesus is moving. Ephesians 6: 13 – Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
The full Armour of God helps us to be steadfast. Lt us be unwavering in fulfilling our God given destiny, in pursuing the promises of God for our life. Ultimately, unwavering in our personal faith and passionate out working of it. This is because it makes a different to the community, church etc.
He tells us that a lot of us are stubborn but the question is “are you righteously stubborn?” Although being stubborn has a wrong connotation but the definition means determination.
Pastor Nath encourages us at this critical time to be even more righteously stubborn. Let us determine not to change our attitude and position on biblical truth and godly convictions.
