Nick Vujicic Postpones “America Returns” Movement, Announces Inaugural Gathering
Nicholas James Vujicic, better known as Nick Vujicic, a renowned Christian evangelist and motivational speaker has announced a strategic shift in the “America Returns” movement and announced an inaugural faith gathering.
“America Returns” is an initiative gathering all United States Christians, Jews, and government leaders for a season of repentance from “collective sins” and “pray for God’s mercy and blessing, commit to Biblically based next steps and declare His sovereignty over our lives and our nation.”
Taking to social media, Vujici announced that the event originally slated for August 31, 2024, has been postponed to 2025. He, explained that the decision was divinely inspired, stating, “God has impressed on us to move the gathering to 2025 after the 2024 elections.”
While the exact date for the 2025 gathering has not been revealed, Vujicic emphasizes that the movement’s core purpose is not political but spiritual.
“America Returns is not a political prayer movement, but a call to the nation to repent and return to the Lord,” he explained.
Despite postponing the main “America Returns” event to 2025, Nick Vujicic has revealed plans for a preliminary gathering on August 31, 2024. The inaugural meeting seeks to gather faith leaders from diverse “theologies, races, and political perspectives to repent and craft a joint call to the nation to gather for America Returns in 2025.”
Following this inaugural leadership meeting, the movement team plans to launch weekly prayer and repentance focuses to encourage prayer and reflection in the lead-up to the rescheduled national event.
Citing 1 Chronicles 30:9, the team emphasizes God’s compassion and willingness to accept national repentance. This verse highlights the potential for national healing and restoration if Americans return to a relationship with God.
