MEMORISE:
“And a certain man found him, and, behold, he was wandering in the field: and the man asked him, saying, What seekest thou?”
Genesis 37:15

READ: Genesis 24:12-26
12. And he said, O LORD God of my master Abraham, I pray thee, send me good speed this day, and show kindness unto my master Abraham.
13. Behold, I stand here by the well of water; and the daughters of the men of the city come out to draw water:
14. And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also: let the same be she that thou hast appointed for Thy Servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that Thou hast showed kindness unto my master.
15. And it came to pass, before he had done speaking, that, behold, Rebekah came out, who was born to Bethuel, son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham’s brother, with her pitcher upon her shoulder.
16. And the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her: and she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher, and came up.
17. And the servant ran to meet her, and said, Let me, I pray thee, drink a little water of thy pitcher.
18. And she said, Drink, my lord: and she hasted, and let down her pitcher upon her hand, and gave him drink.
19. And when she had done giving him drink, she said, I will draw water for thy camels also, until they have done drinking.
20. And she hasted, and emptied her pitcher into the trough, and ran again unto the well to draw water, and drew for all his camels.
21. And the man wondering at her held his peace, to wit whether the LORD had made his journey prosperous or not.
22. And it came to pass, as the camels had done drinking, that the man took a golden earring of half a shekel weight, and two bracelets for her hands of ten shekels weight of gold;
23. And said, Whose daughter art thou? Tell me, I pray thee: is there room in thy father’s house for us to lodge in?
24. And she said unto him, I am the daughter of Bethuel the son of Milcah, which she bare unto Nahor.
25. She said moreover unto him, We have both straw and provender enough, and room to lodge in.
26. And the man bowed down his head, and worshipped The LORD.

MESSAGE
A. Divine connection simply means the connection of an individual to sources that would help to fast-track the fulfilment of his her destiny.
1. In Psalm 37:23, The Holy Spirit teaches: “The steps of a good man are ordered by The LORD: and he delighteth in his way.”
2. This was the testimony of Abraham’s servant in today’s Bible text.
3. He was amazed at The Way The God of His master answer his simple childlike prayer of faith.
4. Beyond his wildest imagination, things worked out in his favour because God had already sent His Angels ahead of him to work everything out.
5. When you are Divinely Connected, people will think that you are wise or brilliant.
6. Some may even mistake you for a genius!
7. I pray for you today that God will give you Divine Connections that will confound everyone who hears about it in Jesus‘ Name. Amen!

B. When we draw close to God and do His Bidding, we earn ourselves divine connections
1. James 4:8 “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
2. Hebrews 6:10 says, “For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have showed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.”
3. Some people complain about following Jesus without anything to show for it.
4. Such people may be in their season of sowing, or they might not have been following Him according to pattern He has laid down.
5. The Lord is a faithful covenant-keeper who cannot lie.
6. In Matthew 19:29, He said: “And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.”
7. If you have been walking with God with nothing to show for it spiritually and materially, take time to carefully evaluate your walk.

C. If you need Divine Connection, you must be faithful to the profession of faith you made when you gave your life to Christ.
1. Our calling, like that of Abraham the father of faith, is a call unto holiness.
2. Genesis 17:1 The Sign of the Covenant: “When Abram was ninety-nine years old, The Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I Am The Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless.”
3. 1 Thessalonians 4:7 “For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness.”
4. Abraham did not compromise his calling by going back to his father’s house.
5. Don’t ever contemplate going back to the world; there is nothing for you there.
6. To be Divinely Connected, you need to add virtue and brotherly kindness to your faith, because faith without work is dead.
7. James 2:17 “Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.”
8. Renew your relationship with The Lord and let holiness become your watchword.
9. Endeavour to please Him in all your ways just as the early church did, and you will then experience Divine Connection.

PRAYER POINT:
Father, Please grant me Divine Connections that will lead to my breakthrough in Jesus’ Name. Amen!

HYMN : NEARER MY GOD TO THEE
1. Nearer, my God to Thee,
Nearer to Thee!
E’en though it be a cross
That raiseth me,
Still all my song shall be.
Nearer, my God to Thee!
Nearer, my God to Thee!
Nearer to Thee!

2. Though like the wanderer,
The sun gone down.
Darkness be over me,
My rest a stone.
Yet in my dreams I’d be
Nearer, my God to Thee!
Nearer, my God to Thee!
Nearer to Thee!

3. There let the way appear
Steps unto heaven;
All that Thou send’st to me
In mercy given:
Angels to beckon me
Nearer, my God, to Thee!
Nearer, my God to Thee!
Nearer to Thee!

4. Then, with my waking thoughts
Bright with Thy praise,
Out of my stony griefs
Bethel I’ll raise
So by my woes to be
Nearer, my God, to Thee!
Nearer, my God to Thee!
Nearer to Thee!
