MEMORY VERSE:
“There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.”Isaiah 65:20
BIBLE READING: Isaiah 65:20-23
20• There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.
21• And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
22• They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
23• They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.
MESSAGE:
A. Are you aware that your strength can reman intact even as you grow old?
1• According to Deuteronomy 34:7, Moses was One hundred and twenty years old, yet had 20/20 vision and was not weak.
2• Isaiah 65:20 says young child will die at age of one hundred year.
3• Just imagine that if in The Chruch when we say, “We lost a child” we are talking of someone aged One Hundred years. That is the promise of God.
4• Joshua 14:10, 11 says:“…and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and five (85) years old. As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in.”
5• In the verse above, Caleb said, at eighty-five he was still as strong as he was at forty. He could still fight battles!
6• Compare your age to that of his and see if it is normal to feel weak.
7• God will renew your youth like the eagles’ in The Mighty Name of Jesus. Amen 🙏!
8• Psalms 103:5 “ Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
B. No matter your age, sickness has no place in your body because it is still The Temple of God
1• 1 Corinthians 6:19 “What? Know ye not that your body is The Temple of The Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?”
2• The devil has deceived many of us with the idea that certain sicknesses are typical for old people. It is a big lie.
3• My Bible tells me that I am healed by the stripes of Jesus.
4• It didn’t say that l will enjoy healing when I am fifty. It will work for me all through life. So,
5• I decree: no sickness can stay in your body in The Mighty Name of Jesus. Amen 🙏!
C. Now, with age comes WISDOM and DISCIPLINE- Wisdom to eat only what is right and Discipline to stay away from eating anything that would hurt you.
1• As an adult with EXPERIENCE, the effects of diabetics you have seen should keep you from consuming sugar.
2• You should have seen people die of cancer so much so that you know consuming ORGANIC FOOD is better than processed ones with chemicals in them.
3• If you are FAITHFUL in playing your part to stay healthy, just leave the rest to God.
4• He is faithful to keep you strong.
PRAYER POINT:
Let’s Pray for Our Leaders that AS THEIR DAYS ARE, SO SHALL THEIR STRENGTH BE. In The Mighty Name Of Name Of Jesús. Amen 🙏!
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Psalm 108-110
AUTHOR: PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE
HYMN : ONWARD, CHRISTIAN SOLDIER.
1. Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war,
With the cross of Jesus going on before.
Christ, the royal Master, leads against the foe;
Forward into battle see His banners go!
Refrain:
Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war,
With the cross of Jesus going on before.
2. At the sign of triumph Satan’s host doth flee;
On then, Christian soldiers, on to victory!
Hell’s foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
Brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise. Refrain:
3. Like a mighty army moves the church of God;
Brothers, we are treading where the saints have trod.
We are not divided, all one body we,
One in hope and doctrine, one in charity. Refrain:
4. Crowns and thrones may perish, kingdoms rise and wane,
But the church of Jesus constant will remain.
Gates of hell can never ’gainst that church prevail;
We have Christ’s own promise, and that cannot fail. Refrain:
5. Onward then, ye people, join our happy throng,
Blend with ours your voices in the triumph song.
Glory, laud, and honor unto Christ the King,
This through countless ages men and angels sing. Refrain:
EMMANUEL=GOD WITH US!
