Palm Sunday Sermon by Bishop T.D Jakes: Trusting Beyond Knowing

Bishop T.D Jakes shares this Palm Sunday sermon on April 10 2022 titled “Trusting Beyond Knowing” where he asks if you can trust God wholeheartedly when you can’t see what He’s doing? The Bishop of The Potters House said that our humanity desires to know what is happening next, to have insight into where God is leading us, but to walk with God is to walk confidently in the face of uncertainty. He said we must stand firm in our faith and where ambiguity frustrates us, it’s our faith that fortifies us. This message is taken from the scripture: Matthew 21:2-9 KJV.

He said this is a very predictable and practical text considering that we have just stepped into holy week and it is introduced to us through a right and a memorial of what we call Palm Sunday. T.D Jakes said he has found that the flowers shall fade and the grass will wither but the word of the lord shall stand forever.

It’s one thing to know and it’s another thing to trust. Remember that Jesus told Thomas you have believed because you have seen but blessed are they who have not seen and yet they believe.
