Pastor Grant Castleberry Celebrates 5 Years at Capital Community Church
Pastor Grant Castleberry recently celebrated a significant milestone, marking five years of dedicated service as the Senior Pastor of Capital Community Church. Since August 2019, when Pastor Castleberry took on the role of Senior Pastor at Capital, he has been entrusted with the critical responsibilities of preaching the Word of God, shepherding the congregation, caring for and discipling believers, and equipping the saints for the work of ministry. Working closely with the church elders, Pastor Castleberry has also played a key role in casting the overall vision for the church, ensuring that every ministry effort is aligned with a Christ-centered focus.
Pastor Castleberry’s journey to ministry is rooted in a strong academic and leadership background. He completed his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University, where he also served as junior yell leader and head yell leader, reflecting his early dedication to leadership and service. He went on to earn both a Master of Divinity (MDiv) and a Master of Theology (ThM) in Historical Theology from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. Currently, Pastor Castleberry is pursuing a Ph.D. at Southern, writing on the influential Christian preacher and theologian, Dr. D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones.
These past five years at Capital Community Church have been marked by growth and transformation under Pastor Castleberry’s leadership. His passion for teaching, coupled with his academic rigor, has deeply impacted the congregation.
