“Funny how God’s timing rarely lines up with my expectation.
Sometimes I am not ready yet.
Sometimes I think I will wait forever.
When it happens, it happens.
Luke tells us that while they were in Bethlehem, the time came. I am pretty sure this isn’t how Mary would have planned it.
When the time comes, it comes.
Sometimes there is something I need first.
Sometimes there is a lesson I need to learn.
Sometimes the unplanned allows me to depend on His provision.
I am not sure what you are waiting on this Christmas season, or what unexpected thing has landed in your lap, but I know that God is always on time.”
