Pastor Jentezen Franklin: We Are Not Crazy

Today we share you this sermon by Pastor Jentezen Franklin titled “We Are Not Crazy” and it is a sermon that will uplift you and inspire you. The text for the message is from Mark 10:43.

God measures greatness in terms of service not status. In the world, greatness is rather marked by the number of people that serve you. However, in the kingdom of heaven, it is not how many people that serve you but how many people you serve.

Regardless of the gift God has given you and what he has called you to do, having the heart of a servant is better than using these gifts. This is because, if you do not have a servant’s heart, you will be tempted to misuse that gift for personal gain. He tells us that if you are not serving people then you are not serving God.

Reading from the text in Galatians 6:3, Pastor Franklin tell us that you are not all that important. Once you start feeling that you have become important, leave that stuff for the little people to do. However, just know that you are fooling yourself.

Jesus showed us how humble he is when he was on earth. He was God in the flesh but he never felt that anything was beneath him.

Pastor Franklin also points out that it is your willingness to do that “not so great” things that actually qualifies you for great things.  Real servants are faithful and they are faithful to the end. The test of good character is if others and God can depend on you.

Another thing that real servants are known for is that they are not focused on self-promotion. God notices the people who serve in the shadows and he marks them.

This is a message that you will love.
