Today we bring you the second part of the message from Pastor John Gray, which is titled “Lift and Launch II.” The text for the message is from the book of John 12:29. According to Pastor John, not everyone will listen to what you have to say in 2023.It doesn’t matter if they are in the same space as you. God will stay clear to you and confusing to others. He tells us that 2023 cannot be a rehash of the habits, patterns, places, and people that had us stuck in 2022.
From the scripture text, Pastor John pointed out how Jesus was honest with his emotions despite the fact that he is God. Being saved is not easy; this is because we live in a world that hates God his emotions despite the fact that he is God. Being saved is not easy; this is because we live in a world that hates God. They like to talk about God, but very few live for him. There are a lot of people in churches today, but there are no disciples.
He further added that God is going to launch and lift you this year; however, if he feels that he is going to lose you, he will sit you right on the launch path. This is because, just like a rocket, there are other systems within you that have glitches that God needs to address.
God is lifting you not for your personal enjoyment but for his glory. If God cannot use your life to bring glory to his name, then be sure that you are staying grounded. What God is looking for are those whose lives will bring him glory.
Pastor John also added that when God elevates you, do not become proud and arrogant because the truth is that you do not deserve it. However, God decided to choose you against his sovereign will.
One thing we need to do before the Lord lifts us is check our lives (our systems) to see if there is anything capable of grounding us.
