Herein, Pastor Mike asks us “what are you cuffed to?” He said we’ve all tried to love things that don’t love us back. God is going to expose what we are cuffed to knowingly or unknowingly, and show us how we can be cuffed to Christ.
He said that on our journey of ‘adulting’, along the way we pick up many things that we connect to or cuff to that serve us in one season that we never uncuff from when they’re not serving us anymore. It used to be the only way you could function but now it’s keeping you from functioning because you’re still dragging along the things, the ideas, the perspectives and even some people that are no longer serving a purpose in your life.
