Beginning the message, defines what contamination is all about. He talks about how we are dabbling into Christianity of contamination. We may think of it as nothing but on the other hand, it is polluting people’s purpose.
The spirit of contamination is the reason that whenever we try to do things in the way of God, there will always be people around to make us deviate us. Pastor Mike added that this spirit of contamination is nothing but manipulation and control in a covert manner. The very same tactics that the serpent used on Eve.
We will always become like the things we surround ourselves with, and when we get around people and things that aren’t good for us, we become cuffed to things that contaminate us.
Contamination does not take a lot, It only takes a drop. While the goal of contamination is control, the spirit behind it is the spirit of Jezebel. Anyone who controls and manipulates through contamination is battling with the spirit of Jezebel.
The spirit of Jezebel attacks leaders and the attack will continue as long as you allow it. The spirit is attracted to anointing, resources and influence.
Pastor Mike went on to list the six seeds of Jezebel spirit namely;
- Insecurity: They like to control people who have an idea of their identity because they do not
- Rejection: people who have the spirit of Jezebel have experienced a severe form of rejection. Their unhealed wounds become a weapon.
- Pride
- Arrogance
- Manipulation
- Control.
Pastor Mike in this message, teaches us how to get free from the things that have contaminated us and step into God’s calling for our lives.
