The topic for this Sunday service message is all about baptism. Pastor Mike talks about how a lot of people will love to have a “relationship with benefits without association” with Jesus. Jesus is going to only be their Lord and savior in need but they will never claim him.
Many of us stop the flow after salvation. But today, Pastor Mike taught us that baptism isn’t an obligation. It’s an opportunity for overflow!
He said that the major problem we are suffering from in the society is people who love Jesus as a side chick savior. When Jesus becomes your lord and savior that means he now has ownership over your life.
In this message, Pastor Mike tells us that there is absolutely no need for any special preparation for baptism. You can get baptized anywhere even in your bathtub. A Father can even get baptized by his child, as long as the child is a believer. Baptism must not be done by the pastor.
At Transformation Church, they believe that there are three baptisms: baptism into salvation, baptism in water, and baptism in the Holy Spirit. Flood Sunday is all about baptism in water. It’s an outward sign of an inward decision.
Pastor Mike challenged us to not stop the overflow. It’s Different Now. It is of urgent importance that we make Jesus a priority in our life.
