Pastor Rick Warren Under Criticism Over Hot Sauce Slogan

Pastor Rick Warren is under heavy criticism from followers over his choice of words for a hot sauce description. The followers of the senior pastor and founder of Saddleback Church have condemned his recent Instagram post where he had given perhaps a nasty slogan to his hot sauce collection.

Pastor Warren apparently, has over the years been noted for an unusual hobby of collecting varieties of hot sauce across the world.

In his recent Instagram post, he shared a photo of himself standing in front of his hot sauce display shelf. The photo also revealed him to be firmly holding 2 woozy bottles in both hands. By all appearances, the shelf consists of over 500 woozy bottles of hot sauce.

Rick Warren had described his hot sauce as ‘Hell’ in the caption while showing off his collection from across the world. He went on to promulgate that he does not only believe in hot sauce but as well consumes it. He wrote “I don’t just believe in hell. I eat it! This is my hot sauce collection from around the world”

Warren’s description of the hot sauce as ‘hell’, obviously was unacceptable by some of his followers. His choice of words however was condemned, arguing from the opinion that it wasn’t appropriate to be used in such a context.

One follower wrote, “I think you could have come up with a better slogan honestly”. Another wrote, “This is a very weird and inappropriate post. What has happened to you”. And yet another, “Pastor I really think you should have chosen a blessed way to put it because it doesn’t sound good the way you pronounce it..”. And lots more

While some followers however had condemned those criticizing the pastor, others praised him for his achievement so far.
