Stephanie tell us that we are coming into a time that would be similar to the time of Joseph. Joseph had foresight or the revelation of what is to come. When God wanted to release the word, he gave the dream to a non-believer. His strategy was not only to unlock the meaning of the dream but also to unlock the strategy that would keep his people.
Joseph received instructions from God and he had the ability to plan for a season of drought. You need a word from God for the seasons that we are going into. She tells us that we need a word from God about who we are, who he has called us to be and how he has called us to live.
She pointed out that when Jesus said “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God, he was talking about two different things. One aspect he was talking about is your natural body that needs food to survive. But Jesus telling us that it is by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God is to let us know that, the essence of who you are can only be sustained by the word of God.
Further, she points out that you cannot go into the new season talking about a word you received in 2001. God moves in rhythm, he has a flow, and when you walk with God you move in his flow. It is God that orders the steps of the righteous.
There is somewhere that you are going. You do not stay stuck in what you have heard or what you have known. All you have to do is to stay available and open-minded to God. This is not a posture of panic or anxiety but that of opening up your heart in a way of surrender.
