“I chose this picture to remind you that it wasn’t all smiles and speeches… but a relentless pursuit of equality for EVERY MAN, even when loss of freedom and loss of life were on the table. King was a fighter! And he lost his life so that I could experience the level of freedom that I have today. It’s CRAZY that he faced so much opposition with such a pure hearted mission. But then again, I see a lot of opposition to positive change today. Nevertheless, I’m committed to doing my part to ensure that my boys grow up in a world where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. Rest well, King.
