“Are you holding something that’s hurting you? Both Paul and Moses were greatly used by God. As Pastor @stevenfurtick taught us this weekend, they had very different experiences with a snake.
In Acts 28, a snake fastens itself to Paul, and those around him accused him of being an evil man, but Paul simply shook it off, unharmed. In Exodus 4, God instructs Moses to release the staff in his hand (a symbol of his past that’s kept him from fully knowing God) and it turns into a snake. It becomes a testimony of God’s power to those who don’t believe.
Both Paul and Moses LET GO of something… Paul had accusers; he let it go. Moses struggled with his past; he let it go. What is God asking you to let go of so that you can step forward into where He is calling you?”
