In this message, he said that one thing you need to know is that a lot of the changes that will happen in your life that are the most important are the ones you won’t get any compliments about. He said he has noticed that once you get really consistent at something, people stop complimenting you about it. The best way to get compliments is to only do the right thing occasionally. The best way to get compliments, if that’s your goal, is to be a crappy dad who only comes around on Christmas and only shows up to give the kids what they want and never disciplines them.
