Pastor Steven Furtick : Why God Doesn’t Tell You Everything

Today we present a new message from Pastor Steven Furtick which is titled “Why God doesn’t Tell You Everything”.

God is not protecting your plan, he’s protecting his promise. God is not protecting your preference of how you wanted something to go and how we want it to be.

We don’t like being kept in the dark, then we wouldn’t have love to be disciple of Jesus Christ  because his communication skills were suspect at best (keeps them in the dark). He would have told them to bring food to feed the 5 thousand but he did not tell them, Why would God love us and keep us in the dark?

God did not tell David that he was going to fight the Goliath, and he was just with his slingshot and a bag of lunch to give to his brothers,

So why would God keep his children in the dark? Why didn’t he tell Joseph that Mary is pregnant and it’s the Holy spirit  before Mary started to show?  Why didn’t tell Mary and Joseph that they will have baby in Bethlehem so that they can get room on time?

Maybe God doesn’t keep us in the dark all the time because he’s cruel, maybe sometimes he keeps us in the dark because he’s getting something ready inside of us.

Sometimes we ask God for direction, ask him to show us things but he tells us to in a silence “i need you to stay out, because my ways are not your ways, and my thoughts are not your thoughts and as high as the heavens are above the earth, so are my ways above your ways and your thought.

Sometimes God has prophecy about our life and keeps us in the dark because he wants us to trust him and know that he has the best for us.

God has the plan for prosper us and not to harm us because he is a good God.
