The greatest form of freedom is liberty from unperceived bondage. Unperceived bondage is to be bound and not know that you are bound. That is the worst kind of bondage.
If you know that you are bound that is when you can seek freedom. However, when you are ignorant of your state, then the bondage is great.
The Antithesis of Freedom is ignorance. The truth doesn’t make people free. What makes people free is the knowledge of the truth.
According to Pastor Roberts, the truth Jesus is talking about is not just the truth as a set of facts. The truth here relates to a living dynamic to be tapped into regularly to have truth. It speaks of having a relationship and intimacy with truth.
Once we are free there is nothing that can hold us back anymore. Jesus came to pave the way so that we can have everything that God has for us. Jesus wants us to be free so that we can be fruitful and multiply.
The reason why we are not fruitful and not multiplying is because we do not have knowledge of the truth in certain areas.
