“She is my rock — My biggest and most consistent cheerleader.
She cheered before there were any crowds nor any clout. And what’s cool about my mom is that she, although proud of my accomplishments and accouterments thus far, is at the same time completely unbothered by anything that is fleeting or superficial.
She’s seen a lot in her years and is not impressed by the praise of man, but rather my heart for God.
What she has steadfastly celebrated in my life is my love for God, my love for my family and my commitment to an integrous lifestyle and hard work. I’m so thankful for her life.
She’s a bright North Star in my world and today she turns 71.
Please help me celebrate My Momma! “Mama Tommye” as she’s affectionately called!
