Phil Munsey Sermons Precious Present
Pastor Phil Munsey in this message titled “Precious Present” teaches us what the precious present is all about. The precious present is not the gift of gold or silver rather it is the gift of today. The greatest gift we can get is the precious present, to be fully alive and be present in it. We need to get into the present and not allow the mistakes of the past or the worries of the future to rob us of the present of today.
He tells us that we must not let the past dictate for us either allow the future to bother us. The problem we have is thinking that everything has to be perfect for us to enjoy the precious present. He gave us an illustration from the book of Genesis 1 where God only separated the day and night ad declared it Good. God was not was finished with Creation but after each day of creation, God looks at his creation and says it is good.
We should learn from God and learn to live in the precious present. Just like David said, ” This is the day the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it”.
Only you can give yourself the precious Present.
