Pope Francis has given a short homily on the catholic readings of yesterday March 8, 2020 where he explained the events of the transfiguration and what it symbolizes.
The Papal figure took to social media to write: “The wondrous event of the Transfiguration, recounted in the #GospelOfTheDay (Mt 17:1-9), opens us to a fuller understanding of the mystery of Christ, who must suffer, die and then rise again. #Angelus”
