Pope Francis is slightly sick as Coronavirus has invaded Italy following its outbreak in China. The Virus which debuted its plague in China has killed many people in the Asian country.
The Papal figure took ill yesterday but is visibly getting better. Teaching about lent today on Twitter, Pope Francis wrote a short homily thus:
“Lent is great time to make space for the Word of God. It is time to turn off the TV and open the Bible. It is a time to pull ourselves away from cell phones and connect ourselves to the Gospel.”
According to the Vatican, Pope Francis shifted his appointments this Friday and is working from home. This is a day after cancelling a scheduled appearance at mass because of a little illness.
