Have you ever asked yourself why you are always doing nice things for people, speaking kind words about others but they can never return that same kindness? To answer this question, you must investigate what really gave birth to that kind of feeling. It could be a misinterpretation of the scripture given above, which may lead you to believe that if you do good to others, they will in turn do good to you. By no means! That is not how it works and that is certainly not what the scripture is telling us! Jesus never gave us such a promise, but He clearly stated that what you wanted to be done unto you, you must go ahead and do that unto others. There is no guarantee that they will return the good with good.You need to manage your expectations, and you will not be hurt or disappointed.”
