Prophet Shepherd Bushiri Sermon says “In the face of persecution, I always find comfort in the story of perseverence as told in the deeds of Jacob.
We read in Genesis 32:22-31 how Jacob WRESTLED with God. He wrestled all night and must have been utterly exhausted. Near daybreak, God dislocated Jacob’s hip, which must have been agonizing.
Yet despite his fatigue and pain, Jacob refused to let go without being blessed. Now that is perseverance!
Tell yourself: “I will persevere the pains I am going through until you speak to me, Oh, Lord!”
It does not matter what battle or negative situation you may be facing. It does not even matter if it seems as though you are being overpowered. What you must remember is that God ALWAYS fulfills His word to you. We serve a God that THRIVES in impossible situations because for God to do nothing, is impossible! He is a WAY MAKER!
I know a lot of people have been saying that the past months have been difficult. I have a message for you. It may have seemed as if you were surrounded by struggles, but in this month of Esther, God is surrounding you with His favor. I see tables turning around for your good! Keep holding on and keep beliving. Our God is a faithful God!
