Rabbi Jonathan Cahn: Lessons from The Plague

Rabbi Jonathan Cahn shares this session titled: “Lessons from The Plague”. In this message, he asked if the Bible talks about epidemics and pandemic and answered that “it does”. He said the Hebrew word for this is the word “magafa” It means to beat or strike or dash something. Older Bible versions will often use the word pestilence as he says that pestilence is a translation of another Hebrew word which is the word “moraine”. Jonathan revealed that in the ten plagues, one of them is called moraine

Plague in Hebrew the word is “dever” which means ‘like a judgment’. He said that prophets often spoke of judgment coming and used three things; famine, the sword and pestilence to symbolize it.
