Pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts wrote a nice tribute for her husband, Pastor Toure Roberts, on Valentine’s Day. In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, the Woman Evolve leader shared a brief video clip of herself and her husband grooving to the song “We Ride” by Gucci Mane. SJR lavished admiration on her husband, addressing him as “King.”
“There’s only person I want to block shade and throw shade with and baby it’s King @toureroberts.”
She goes on to say how Pastor Toure has been there for her and how supportive he has been.
“I’ll never forget the first time I was in a difficult situation and the first thing that came to mind was, “I need Touré.” The thought came so fast that I shocked myself. I’m the kind of woman who wants to believe she can get it all done on her own. I was tapped out of wisdom, strategy, and energy for the fight in front of me. ” She wrote.
Sarah and her husband have been married since 2014 and they co-pastor the ONE Church.
