Pastor Sarah talks about how people are triggered by the way other people live their life. She admitted to being guilty of that as well. Although, she is in the women empowerment today, she has not always been that way. She admitted that there were times that she felt threatened by other women walking bold and walking in purpose. All these were nothing but a reflection of her insecurities.
She added that the truth about success is that it is an illusion. It can make you more insecure and more unstable in your confidence and in your identity.
Yasmine concurred with Sarah’s submissions. She added that there is a naiveness that comes with thriving and wanting to grow.
“We are always caught up in our dreams”.
According to Yasmine, true success is when you are able to identify what your triggers are. Just like when you are planning a wedding. It creates an atmosphere where people begin to question their own life .
People start to compare their lives to some other person’s life based on the perception of what their life is. It is the same thing with success. People will put you on a pedestal and want to believe that you have nothing real going on for you.
Furthermore, Yasmine said that having moments of success, has made her to constantly remind herself that she deserves whatever she is getting. It made her remind herself that the projection of others, is not an invitation to question why she sis where she is.
People’s projection’s are a reflection of themselves and their insecurities and triggers. Instead of questioning why you are where you are; it should be an invitation to stand firm and stand your ground . It should tell you that you are exactly where you ought to be.
