Scott Samways Sermons – Enlarge Your Asking Capacity

Scott Samways Sermons Enlarge Your Asking Capacity

The Hillsong Church brings us a new message by Pastor Scott ‘Sanga’ Samways which is titled “Enlarge Your Asking Capacity”. The text for the message is taken from Psalm 18:19 – He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me.

The bible tell us in the scripture that God is bringing us in a spacious place where we can be refreshed again and breathe again. Everything about God is trying to bring us closer to how big he is. Through the scriptures we see God taking men to places to enlarge us and change their perspective. The plan of God is to enlarge us to fit into his plan.

How large is your asking Capacity? How large is your asking for the things of God? Are you limited when you are asking God? in John 14:14 Jesus tells us that “You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” Matthew 7:7 tells us that our heavenly father is able to provide us with everything that we ever ask for.  There is absolutely n limit to what we can ask for.

The story of Elijah and Elisha takes us to 2 Kings 2:7 where we see the latter demand for the double portion of the anointing Elijah had on him. It did not matter to Elisha that the demands was almost impossible but he did not limit his asking capacity.

A lot of us are OK with asking with the little because we are timid and we feel that God maybe offended with our asking. Stop placing a limit on God with your little asking. Elisha asked for a double portion and that is what Elisha got. Let us stop being timid with our asking and increase our asking capacity. God does not run out of supplies and his resources are ever ready to be dispatched. Ephesians 3:20.

Take the limit off God.
