There is something that is battling against anything good that you have in your life. The devil will never come after you to take away something bad. If you’ve got an abusive spouse, they’re not going to deal with them… they leave them there. If you’ve got an ache of pain in your body he’s not going to take that away. He only comes to get good stuff and there’s a war against all of the good stuff that’s in your life.
The devil likes to sift, to sift means to take out the good. That’s why we’re in a fight and we have to fight now. One of the devil’s biggest tactics is to make people not even believe in the devil and those are the ones that he really has because they won’t even acknowledge that he exists and yet he’s leading them and guiding them.
