Pastor Cora Jakes shares this new sermon titled “The Names of God” where she says God is called El Roi, Jehovah Jireh, Adonai and went on to ask who God is to you? The daughter of Bishop T.D Jakes said that through scripture, you will find over 100 names of God, and you have access to each one as they provide power, purpose, and a plan. She said that when you need a healer, you should call on Jehovah Rophe. When you need a supplier, call on El Shaddai. Using the names of God in the proper context signifies you’re in alignment and that you have a relationship with Him. This message is taken from the book of Numbers 23:22 (NIV).
It says ‘God brought them out of Egypt, He hath as it were the strength of the unicorn’. She reminded us that Theology is the study of God and this is rooted in Theology and so we understand that this is going to be just a small study on some of the names of God. There are over hundred names of God but she only touched about 15 or 16 of them and a little bonus.
