Shepherd Bushiri Adopts Over 8 Camps of Malawi Cyclone Victims

Shepherd Bushiri adopts over 8 camps for Malawi Tropical Cyclone victims upon a visit to the affected areas. The president of Enlightened Christian Gathering Church, who had foreseen the Malawi disaster and as well visited the affected areas upon occurrence has reportedly taken over eight camps in response to the tropical cyclone effects. This was disclosed on his Instagram page.

Recall that Bushiri’s visited the flood-affected areas shortly after the incident. He had not only confirmed but also lamented on the devastating effect of the cyclone-caused flooding and mudslides. He went on to implore concerned individuals to pray for Malawi amidst the disaster. Consequent to his visit, he adopted over 8 camps for the victim in the areas of Traditional Authority (TA) Juma in Mulanje District.

“Prophet Shepherd Bushiri has, today started his response to tropical cyclone effects by adopting over 8 camps in the area of Traditional Authority (TA) Juma in Mulanje District” the post read.

Traditional authority Juma however, was disclosed to consist of over 600 households in camps. In addition, it was made known that while TA Juma was one of the worst-hit areas in Mulanje, it was also inaccessible due to the collapse of connecting bridges.

Furthermore, the post had it that Bushiri was to commence discharge of assistance on Monday. Among stipulated offers includes, hiring of helicopters to deliver supplies in Mulanje and other places where people are cut off. Provision of all the necessary relief items as well as provision of financial assistance to victims. Bushiri’s goal according to the post was to see the victims through the entire recovering process. Conclusively, individuals were implored to adopt a camp.

Obviously, Prophet Shepherd Bushiri is doing a great job in seeing the well-being of the flood victims.
