Shepherd Bushiri Discloses Arrival of Malawi Relief Helicopter
Shepherd Bushiri discloses the arrival of the Helicopter he promised to provide, in support of Malawian flood victims. The president of Enlightened Christian Gathering Church, took to his Instagram to not only unveil a gray-colored helicopter but as well announce its availability. Several photos of himself standing beside the Helicopter were shared. Again, some camera crew were spotted in one of the photos probably capturing the scene.
In the caption, Bushiri reported that the helicopter his church had pledged to assist flood victims in Malawi had arrived. He wrote “Great to announce that the Helicopter we had contracted to help us with the charity work, has arrived”
Shortly after the pastor’s visit to the flood-affected areas of Malawi, he adopted over 8 victims’ camps in Mulanje. Mulanje however was revealed to consist of the most affected and inaccessible areas. Following his adoption, Bushiri offered to commence discharge of relief assistance on Monday. Among his stipulated provisions was a Helicopter that would deliver supplies all over Mulanje and other inaccessible areas.
Consequent to his promise, the Malawian pastor, yesterday, announced the fulfillment of his promise. In addition, he divulged their intention “to donate roughly 500,000USD worth of items”.
Furthermore, Pastor Bushiri beckoned on concerned individuals to assist the church in any way they could. This, he stated was to enable them to reach out to victims he described to be ‘trapped in an island of agony”
“We call everyone of goodwill to stand with us with any support you may, to help these unreachable victims trapped in an island of agony. I believe God is looking for someone to use and I believe we can say: “Here I am Lord, use me”
