I prophesy to you that everything you are doing will begin to move fast. You tried and you failed; but this time around, go and do it again. It will be done.
The Prophet Wrote: “I was privileged enough to celebrate Heritage Day with family and friends at the Sparkling Waters Hotel.
Journeying through this nation of South Africa, I can say that every day has been a learning moment for me. On every corner there are historical monuments and a story that many have lived and shall continue to live on to tell to future generations. These are stories of endurance, sacrifice, victory, hard work, loyalty and commitment. They are stories of greatness!
This country is so diverse, it is indeed the Rainbow Nation and yet through the sundry of all the various cultures, there is unity that can’t be dismantled. On Heritage Day we celebrate unity in diversity; we celeberate unique cultures, beliefs and tradition while also looking at the things that bring all people in South Africa together. We celebrate every person’s heritage in peace, togetherness, right to freedom, speech and most importantly, rights to love!
In 1996, during an address marking Heritage Day, former Late President Nelson Mandela said:
“When our first democratically-elected government decided to make Heritage Day one of our national days, we did so because we knew that our rich and varied cultural heritage has a profound power to help build our new nation.”
On this day, we see the power that lies behind unity and team work. One man can change a city but an entire nation can change the world.
I give glory to God for the incredible opportunity we have all been given to join together to achieve one goal- and that is making this world a better place not only for us but for future generations!
So to all those who are still celebrating, I say enjoy the break, celebrate with family, relax- have some little exercise like me. As the Bible says that, “bodily exercise profits little..” it’s that little that we seek after! Have fun and Happy Heritage to all!”
