Preaching the Gospel during Shepherd Bushiri’s Sermon and making people to pray, persevere and give God time to work wonders in their lives, the prophet said:
“In the face of persecution, I always find comfort in the story of perseverance as told in the deeds of Jacob.
We read in Genesis 32:22-31 how Jacob WRESTLED with God. He wrestled all night and must have been utterly exhausted. Near daybreak, God dislocated Jacob’s hip, which must have been agonizing.
Yet despite his fatigue and pain, Jacob refused to let go without being blessed. Now that is perseverance!
Tell yourself: “I will persevere the pains I am going through until you speak to me, Oh, Lord!”
“All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation.” -1 Peter 1:3
