Should Christians believe in being lucky?
Should Christians believe in being lucky? For a while, many Christian preachers believed that children of God should not believe in luck.
The reason for the statement is because every good thing comes from the Lord. Believing in luck means that our faith is not in God but in our conditions.
People who are into new age practices do believe that being lucky is what attracts blessings to people.
They also believe that there is something like good luck and bad luck.
Some Christians strongly believe that no condition or evil force can make us unlucky. We also believe that God’s timing is the best, so when things don’t work out for us, he has a better plan.
There are people who are selling materials both online and in real life that can make someone lucky.
The soap and perfume have been things that many people have believed to attract favor. The Lord is the one who gives favor to his children, not soaps and perfumes.
Jewelry and other things have been selling out in so many places and traditions all over the world. As children of God, let our faith be in our Lord alone.
God has warned us.
In the Bible, God told us not to have any other God except him, and we should worship only him.
Exodus 20:4-5
“You must not make any idols. Don’t make any statues or pictures of anything up in the sky, of anything on the earth, or of anything down in the water. Don’t worship or serve idols of any kind, because I, the LORD, am your God. I hate my people worshiping other gods.
When we believe in luck and things that can make us lucky, that makes God angry. The Lord doesn’t want us to place anything above him, no matter what.
If things are not going great in your life, don’t believe that you’re unlucky. Examine your life and know if your mistakes or bad habits are the ones making things hard.
If you are sure that your bad habits, like overspending or not working hard, are not the reason for poverty, then pray to God.
The Lord is not happy when we put other things above him, he’s a jealous God. He’s trying to protect us because he knows that every other things will disappoint us or destroy us.
Bad things happen to great people.
Remember that sometimes bad things happen to us so that we can learn and grow. We are not meant to be on the same level for a long time.
Also, remember that the devil won’t attack you if your future is not bright. People with a great future are attacked the most by the devil because he knows that they are stars.
There is no great bad in this world that didn’t have great challenges in their lives in the past. Just don’t label yourself unlucky; get up and do your best every day.
It takes a long time for beautiful things to come forth. Remember that diamonds are formed under great pressure, so don’t limit yourself.
The most expensive mineral resources are not gotten easily; they are gotten below the earth with great effort.
Don’t let the devil label you unlucky because you are special to God, and he has deposited great gifts in you.
Everyone of us has talents and gifts that our heavenly father has given us. Discover what you are good at, and your life will change for the better.
He has not placed us here on earth to suffer until the end of our lives. The suffering is not forever, but for a short time so that we can grow and learn.
Take every suffering and challenge as a lesson and pay attention to what the Lord is trying to teach you at the moment.
Note: Christians are not lucky; we are blessed, and they are permanent. We were fearfully and wonderfully made in the Lord, and he promised us that he would bless the works of our hands.
