Pastor Stephanie tells us that many of us are in the midst of an appointed time that was set by God. We have to know that the appointed time is also an opportune time for the enemy to distract us and get us to focus on the wrong thing. When Satan tempted Jesus and he overcame every temptation, the Bible says Satan left to return at a later time.
If the Devil can distract you from an appointed time, then he has won. We have to know how to wait on God when things are not going well. When you’re so close to a breakthrough, the Devil understands the opportune time for temptation and distraction. If you get tired while waiting on God and give up, you have allowed the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy. The Devil starts by stealing the word that God gives you because if he can steal it, then he can kill that appointed time in your life.
The only thing that will cause us to be blind and not see the plan of God is the distraction of the enemy. We should not let our past failures and doubt keep us from waiting and trusting in God. The Lord will start to shift your whole life around when you wait on him; he will take you from the tail to the head. Most of us don’t like waiting on God because it has a negative connotation. Everything that is connected in life has to do with a waiting period. As Christians, we should train ourselves not to feel that waiting on God is a negative thing because waiting on God is when God prepares the best plan for our lives. We have to understand that in God there is appointed time connected to your life.
