Expounding on the topic, Pastor Chandler lets us know that if we want God to raise an army and work wonders then we all need to come together and know what God wants us to do first. When we are scattered or coming together with different reasons then we cannot see the impact of God.
A lot of people have a misconception of what the church is all about. That is the problem because God and God’s people become an after thought that we think is not worth our time. It is still the same when we do not know our purpose and we do not go all out for it. A lot of people are in Church and do not know God or have a personal relationship with God.
What is the effect of not knowing God? He lets us know that people who do not know God are dead on the inside, you keep walking around with the pain of the world and the best you can do is to numb the pain. This is why the church exist to help people who do not know God come into a greater knowledge of him.
We are so busy burning gas and effort and giving attention to the wrong things and that is why the church exists. To help people not to waste their time on things that are less important. God has a purpose and a plan that is greater than what you can imagine. A plan that allows him to work through you and impact many.
