Steven Furtick – Don’t Define Yourself By Your Mistakes

Pastor Steven Furtick shares this new sermon and message titled “Don’t Define Yourself By Your Mistakes” where he teaches that you’ve made some mistakes but God doesn’t identify you by them. He went on to say that you should not introduce yourself to the new you with the résumé from your past. This message is an excerpt from his sermon “What God Left Out: Flatbread Faith.”

Teaching about ‘Distinction’ , Elevation Church once wrote on Instagram:

“What makes you distinct isn’t always in your experiences. Your distinction is oftentimes in your outcome. You may go through some of the exact same things that other people go through, but your distinction is in the way you come out. You may go through the same thing, but you won’t come out the same way. It’s not a denial of norms, but rather a belief that you don’t have to be limited by those norms or defined by them.”
