He reveals that it’s up to us to determine what our hurt means.

“On the way home Abbey and I talked about what a privilege it is to be able to vote. We talked about how women have only been able to vote for about 100 years. That means when my grandmother was born in 1911, she would not have been able to vote when she came of age, unless changes were made. I am thankful for the men and women who have fought for and protected the freedoms that we get to exercise today. ”
