Commenting on Charity work by Elevation Church, Steven Furtick’s wife, Holly Furtick took to Instagram to post a picture and write:

“Can I take a minute to brag on the generous people of @ElevationChurch?

Last night, Abbey and I, along with some other staff and their daughters packed 675 meals for families of 5. These meals went to 22 organizations locally.

Church wide… many of our campuses and even Watch parties packed meals for families in need.

All together, we packed 2375 meals total.

Wow.

In the midst of such a difficult year for so many, I’m grateful that we have been able to DOUBLE the amount of meals we’re providing this Thanksgiving.

When you give to Elevation, you are a part of this. If you’d like to know more about how you can be a part of serving right where you are, head over to @elevationoutreach, and I’ll include a swipe up in my stories.”

  1. Good afternoon Steve. I have a question for you that I need answered. I was instructed by God to seek out a church that worshipped on the Sabbath. (Saturday). As Sunday is not the sabbath. I found that church. Bit, since I live so far away from it now, I cannot attend. You, so far haven’t spoke about Saturday as being the sabbath. You post Sunday worships. Why is that? I love listening to your sermons. I worship God every day, yes. But saturday, he has i.pressed upon me in so many ways. I cannot do anything on Saturdays as they mess up big time. A (to me anyways) sure .message to me. Why have you not touched on this topic ? It is important to keep His Sabbath.
