Steven Furtick: The Struggle Of Unfulfilled Promises

Today, we bring you a message from Pastor Steven Furtick titled, “The Struggle Of Unfulfilled Promises.”

Pastor Furtick teaches us in this message that sometimes we can see something God wants to give us but we can’t bring it into reality. You might hear and see people living out the promises of God. Their marriages are happy, and their children come to church with them. You have to know that you can see things, but you only see scenes and don’t know stories. Most times, what we see in people’s lives is just the summary, and then we feel that our own life is the worst.

Make sure that when God brings you into the land, you are the kind of person who can sustain the blessing he wants to give you so that you don’t receive the blessing and sabotage it. Sometimes we sabotage our blessings from God because of selfishness, a lack of focus, and a lack of gratitude. When Moses was called by God on the mountain and God wanted to change the leader of the Israelites, he chose Joshua. Joshua being one of the only two spies of the 12 who believed God could do what he said he could do.

We should train ourselves to learn how to wait for the promises of God in our lives. There is a moment in your life where you must realize that there are some realities in your own life that you have to change because things are changing, God is moving, and the world is changing, and if you stay where you are, you will miss what God wants to do in the place he has already prepared for you. But sometimes, in order to change your story, God has to change your point of view.

There are times in our lives when things are going wrong and we only see one way, but when we look back, it’s a completely different way. Trusting God and making changes in our lives are really important in order for us to fulfill the promises of God in our lives.
