Pastor Terri teaches us in this message about the worst advice she has ever received. We have to know that nothing will change if we don’t plan for it to change. We should write down our dreams and goals and work toward achieving them. Most times, we talk ourselves out of achieving our goals by dwelling on negative thoughts and speaking negative words. Some people say that they are not lucky to achieve their goals and dreams, which is really wrong because God wants us to live our lives to the fullest. We may have a lot of things in our lives that will make us feel like we don’t deserve to dream big, but we have to ignore the negatives and dwell on the positives.
We should not exist without any vision in our lives; every year we should set dreams and visions and plan how to achieve them. You should look around you and find opportunities. You have to dream big. We should limit ourselves with the negativity happening in our lives. We have to change, grow, improve our mindset, and give ourselves permission to dream big. We can grow and improve ourselves by simply reading books; we have to read every day because that’s how knowledge works. By simply reading, we can open our minds up to possibilities. Reading helps us gain knowledge and confidence. Give yourself permission to dream outside of your current situation. We may not have enough resources or come from poor backgrounds, but we should not allow that to limit or stop us from dreaming big.
