…..or at least that’s what you tell yourself when you don’t trust you can add value. The thing about having low self-worth is that it shows up in everything. You don’t share your ideas and you dare not express your needs. The only thing you do trust is that everything is better off without your presence or input. Some people think the enemy wants to take you out, but that’s not true. The enemy just wants to leave you stuck, silent, and stagnant.
I still can’t believe that God uses my voice. Choosing to no longer trust my insecurities and instead to trust the Holy Spirit to lead me has changed my life. It’s a journey I’m still on, but I’ve come such a long way. I still feel the anxiety of being put on the spot to speak, but the anxiety melts when I remind my soul that I’m not in it alone.
I’m a different person than I was then, but I hold the girl in that photo near. I’ve taken the time to go back through my life and share what I wish I knew then. I created a course for the women who are determined to no longer reduce their identity based on the choices they’ve made or fears that have kept them bound.
