To become an overcomer it means there is something you have to overcome. Revelation 2 talks about the tolerance of an overcomer.
There are some things that you cannot tolerate. You must set a limit or a standard. If we are going to live as overcomers—people who live victoriously over the circumstances that seek to hold us back—we need to have standards by which we live.
From the scripture we see Jesus warn the church in Thyatira that they tolerate the Jezebel. In God’s house there are things that he accepts and there are things that he does not accept. One thing God does not accept is Idolatory and that is wjat God held against the church in Thyratira. Another thing is a their immoral lifestyle.
One ting you should do as a christian is that you should be clear on where you stand. You are not supposed to be a hidden Christian. The bible makes it clear that we are to let our lights so shine before men.
It is not every thing that you indulge in as a Christian. Pick a stand and make a standard because if you keep going both ways, you will never be an overcomer.
