Tony Evans Sermons – Reversing Irreversible Consequences

Tony Evans Sermons Reversing Irreversible Consequences

This new message from Pastor Tony Evans titled “Reversing Irreversible Consequences” which we are bringing to you to make your day.  Pastor Tony Evans is the lead pastor of the Oak Hills Bible Fellowship in Dallas Texas and has transformed the lives of many people through his teachings and way of life.

In today’s message, Pastor Tony touches on the possibility that irreversible consequences can be reversed. The story of Gehazi, Elisha’s servant is where we take our lesson for today. Gehazi had ran after a gift the prophet Elisha had rejected and that is what brought the curse of Leprosy on not just him but his generation.

What Gehazi had done is the sin of covetousness. Covetousness is going through something that is not yours. Colossians 3:5 calls covetousness idolatry. Covetousness is one sin that Jesus warned us about in the scripture.

According pastor Tony, one fundamental mistake made by Gehazi is that he lost sight of God and that is the problem with covetous people. The consequence is leprosy which cannot go away. it is something that can never change.

Whenever you have to connive to get something God has not given then you are going to run into problem because it is not your time yet.

However, here is way out, when you find yourself in an irreversible situation, ask God for a retest. What is a retest? A retest is an opportunity to make amends.

This is a sermon that you will learn a lot from.
