We’re not going to get to where we need to be any quicker if we worry, if we struggle, and if we become frustrated. If we find ourselves struggling, we have to rest in God’s peace and abide in his joy, because that’s where you’re going to find your strength. God is always trying to get us higher, so we’re always going to be facing something in our lives.
James 1:4. It says to consider it all joy when you go through trials of many kinds, a variety of trials coming from different places, and to count it all joy when we face trials. Trials are what cause us to struggle, but God counts it all joy. Our trials were never meant to decrease us; they were meant to increase us. They were not meant to tear our faith down; they were meant to build it up. When we go through trials in life and trust in God, that will make our faith in him grow stronger. Trials were meant to produce perseverance in us. In the Bible, God said we wouldn’t lack anything that we needed. The trial of our faith is going to lead us to good; it’s not going to tear us down if we trust in God.
