When the serpent deceived Eve and attempted to thwart God’s plan they were not left without hope. When the woman’s seed collided with the Holy Spirit our Savior took His first breath.
Today we acknowledge the bruising of His heel. The good in Good Friday is because we know that the bruising of the heel is not the end. When we accept salvation we receive the truth and evidence that bruised heels can still crush the serpent’s head.
I don’t know how life is bruising your heel. I’m unsure how life is changing the way you walk, but on this Good Friday I’m praying that you take a moment and remember that bruising is not the end.
