Celebration Church: Belief, Service Times, Locations, Pastors, And Denomination: The Celebration church is one of America’s fastest growing Pentecostal churches. With Campuses in over six locations in America, the church also have campuses across Europe and Africa. Pastor Stovall Weems was the head pastor until his resignation in April 2022 over a scandal.
Beliefs
- HOLY BIBLE
The authoritative Word of God is the Holy Bible. It is the sole source for deciding all doctrinal truths. They believe that the bible is inspired, infallible, and inerrant when it was first written.

TRINITY
One God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—is the only true deity. All three of these are equal and eternal.
- JESUS CHRIST
Jesus Christ is God the Son, the second person of the Trinity. On earth, Jesus was 100% God and 100% man. They believe he is the only man ever to have lived a sinless life, born of a virgin, performed miracles, died on the cross for mankind and atoned for our sins through the shedding of His blood.

REDEMPTION
The only person who can save man from his deliberate sin is the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was made good and upright.

REGENERATION
They have the belief that Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is vitally necessary for everyone to know God.

SALVATION
By grace, by faith in the atoning death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we are saved. Salvation is a gift from God; it is not earned by human effort or good deeds.

REPENTANCE
Repentance is the decision to stop sin in all aspects of life and to follow Christ. This enables us to accept His atonement and to be born again by the Holy Spirit. So, via repentance, we are offered proper redemption and sins are pardoned.

SANCTIFICATION
Sanctification is the ongoing process of yielding to God’s Word and His Spirit in order to complete the development of Christ’s character in us. It is through the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God that the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life

BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT
Given at Pentecost, it is the Father’s promise that Jesus sent after ascending to the Father to enable the Church to spread the gospel across the entire world.

THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit is manifested through a variety of spiritual gifts to build and sanctify the church, demonstrate the validity of the resurrection, and confirm the power of the Gospel. These gifts are not necessarily exhaustive and they may occur in various combinations.

 Celebration Church Pastors
Pastor Tim and Jen Timberlake are the head pastors of Celebration Church, Pastor Tim is a graduate of the Pistis School of Ministry in Detroit, Michigan. He is a gifted communicator and teacher who has the ability to communicate to people from all walks of life. He is also the author of Abandon: Laying Aside Your Plan for God’s Purpose and The Power of 1440: Making the Most of Every Minute in a Day.
Pastor Jen attended Eastern Washington University, with a double Bachelors, and also holds a master’s degree from the University of San Francisco.
Celebration Church Scandal
The founding pastor of Celebration Church, Stovall Weems was suspended amid allegations that he and his wife Kerri had made unauthorized financial transactions, including selling a residence to the church at a substantial profit, taking salary advancements and transferring funds to for-profit businesses that they managed.
Pastor Stovall Weems resigned from Celebration Church in April, 2022 as he continues to pursue a lawsuit alleging that the church’s governing board illegally suspended from his position.
The Weemses have responded by filing a lawsuit, alleging that trustee Kevin Cormier had given church leaders “lies and misinformation” about them in order to draw attention away from himself. They claim Cormier had inflated invoices and was billing the church for tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of rent and renovations. Weems previously dismissed Cormier from the board by using his pastoral authority.
