Jerry Savelle Ministries Creates Online Memorial for Tributes to Beloved Founder
In the wake of the passing of Dr. Jerry Savelle, founder of Jerry Savelle Ministries International (JSMI), the ministry has established a dedicated webpage to honor his life and legacy.
The outpouring of love and support from friends and partners worldwide has been immense, according to a statement from JSMI. “There has been an outpouring of care and encouragement over the past few days,” the ministry shared. “Thank you friends and partners for your words of love and comfort.”
In response to this wave of good wishes, Jerry Savelle Ministries International has created a space for mourners to share their personal experiences and memories of Dr. Savelle. “We’ve created an avenue for you to upload your memories, stories, and prayers as we honor the life and impact of Bro Jerry,” the statement continues.
The webpage can be found at jerrysavelle.org. This memorial provides a space for those touched by Dr. Savelle’s ministry to share their experiences and celebrate his legacy.
Visitors are encouraged to not only share their remembrances but are also given the option to make a “Memorial Offering” in lieu of flowers.
Dr. Savelle passed away on April 15, 2024, at 76. His passing left a void in the lives of many. He was a prominent figure in televangelism, known for his messages of faith and prosperity. His ministry reached millions around the world.
The Jerry Savelle Ministries International website highlights Dr. Savelle’s life as “marked by an adventure in faith.” The ministry describes him as a “beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, pastor, mentor, and resolute friend.” They credit his journey as one of “immense impact” rooted in his faith.
